Scott Ayers is a Houston musician who’s been performing around town for 50 years, ever since he learned to play the guitar at age 13. Well known for his work with Pain Teens in the late ‘80’s and ‘90’s, he has spearheaded or otherwise involved himself in countless projects, including Anarchitex, Naked Amerika, Walking Timebombs, Frog Hair, Infrequencies, and so many others.
Solo experimentations culled from hundreds of recordings written, recorded, mixed and mastered by Scott over many years. The collection showcases his various guitar techniques that range from heavenly blends to stout and spooky storm clouds. The luminous voice of Erin Dance is featured on three of the tracks.
