CIA is pleased to introduce Red Nightmare, a new musical entity based in Lexington, Kentucky, conceived by artist and writer Aleksandra Craine. She has been steadily recording her first album from a quiet studio on a boulevard filled with decaying mansions. A Los Angeles area native, she's been making songs for years - reflective, damning meditations on love, freedom and the tragicomedy that is human life on earth. Melodic and ethereal, her voice is bathed in electrical pulses that appear benign, danceable and disarming, only to reveal a righteous and powerful anger.
